great texture.. I'm using this tallow to substitute in for some of my other oils for more taste and robust cooking. It arrived in a nice thick bucket, you need a knife to cut the security tab and if you have hand health issues like I do you may need some help with the tight fitting lid. I'm excited to have this tallow in my cooking cupboard possibles and know you will too. They advertise one year shelf life but you can see mine expires in March 2027. Let's fry ..

Delicious and Good Value

We cut out seed oils about a year and half ago. So I have tried a variety of alternatives and this tallow tastes great. No odor and is a good value. I transfer some to wide mouth jar so I can keep the rest refrigerated. It fries food like a dream. Our health has improved dramatically since quitting the seed oils!

Great Quality Beef Tallow

This beef tallow has been excellent for cooking. It has a clean flavor, melts evenly, and works great for frying, roasting potatoes, and searing steaks. The quality seems very good, and the large 7-pound bucket should last a long time. One thing I really appreciated was the expiration date—it doesn't expire until March 2027, so there's plenty of time to use it without worrying about it going bad. Overall, it's a great value for the amount you get, and I'd definitely purchase it again. Highly recommended.
