great deal. rare to find a blu ray in the 5 dollar bin. Good dystopian action sci fy film. A classic for Arnold Schwarzenegger. Gets framed for murdering families, gets put in a game show where you battle it out. everyone else gets to watch on tv. An good example of how the government shows the evil of it when in full control, censoring media

Dark, strange, but true 1980s Action - a good deal

The Running Man is epic and one of the good leading golden age movies and pure fun. A major box office success and a good time if you like 80s films filmed where the sun doesn't shine. Supposed to take place in the future in a mad dark game zone, well 2017 but has a bit of campy feel but can be a good adult/older teenager 18 family film. Rated R but is relatively violent (it does have chainsaw scenes) and there isn't allot of warmth in the film. Filmed in the golden era of 1980s with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Big theme, and get the bowl of popcorn - you will enjoy it if you like A Actor films and high action with no peace during entire film.

I think Arnold did a fantastic job in this film. Since it was set in the future and on Mars he writer could get away with just about anything. All of the cast did a wonderful and the acting was quite good.
