If you have a new battery or an older one with acid corrosion on the cable connectors or battery terminals, this product is definitely what you need to prevent occurrence or recurrence of acid corrosion, You must use this product after you clean the battery terminals and cable connectors to treat the terminals. NOCO makes a great product that will clean the acid corrosion build-up. Often, a solution of baking soda and water will dissolve the corrosion and then apply this preventive treatment. BOOM, no more build-up. Just re-apply this preventive spray as frequently as directed on the can. This product is most effective on the older lead acid batteries. But, it works on all battery chemistries.
