Can't calibrate the tool

This is junk. There is no way to logically calibrate this. Further, the lax of response by the Company to prior posts with similar issues reflects very poorly on the Brands commitment to Quality and the customer

Purchased tried same day not calibrated. Useless.

Instead of asking people to call a number for help on calibrating this how about you leave an explanation of how to do it here on your site. I say this since it's apparently common that these thermometer are never calibrated before shipping to the store. Probably be a good idea to include calibration instructions with the product.

Trash

Put this thermometer in my ham without really paying attention and put it in the oven , came online to make sure it was okay to leave the thermometer in the oven, saw these comments, double checked and realized mine too, was defective. Great timing too.
