Mine doesn' t look like one pictured

First, my Everstart 750 watt with LCD doesn't resemble the one pictured, mine looks like the 400 watter red with black. Living off grid for the past three years I have used a mess of electrical devices and have never had an issue with modified sine wave inverters, that said it does tout 85% efficiency (which can be improved simply by turning off when not needed). Good features like stout 2 feet each power and ground cables, a truly readable LCD readout, mounting feet, 2 USB ports that share 3.1 amps at 5 volts (good for charging phones and tablets) and easy to dissasemble for cleaning with quick change fuses for main and USB power. Fan cooled above 10% with a well thought out ducted air and large heat sink system. All in all, provided it holds together it looks to be well thought out and constructed....time will tell but so far so good.

Portable power

This inverter is has surpassed my needs. It's a small form factor and surprising light for what I was expecting. The inverter measures about seven and a half inches in length by five and a half inches wide and two and a half inches in height. The cables are very easy to install and remove for storage and can be placed in several different positions. I just wish they were a little longer, but they worked fine for my needs. The inverter has two AC plugs for a total of seven hundred and fifty watts and two USB ports at 3.1 amps. There is a small screen on the inverter that has information on it, it includes the current battery voltage, ours was at 12.8 volts and dropped to 12.4 while using a 140 Watt soldering gun while we soldered the wiring harness on a car. My picture of the screen did not turn out so well, but the soldering gun does have lights on the front of it. While using the soldering gun the cooling fan on the inverter did energize and run and after releasing the trigger the fan would cycle off. The inverter came with three fuses, that are very easy to access. The built in display has all the relative information that you need while using it. I keep mine stored in a small tool pouch.

Great for car shows

This inverter is great for car shows. If you enter your car in the show, you want to wait until the end of the show, you can collect your trophy if you win, there is only so much to see when you are there all day, so it's nice to put up a small canopy and chairs behind your car to get out of the shade. I lot of people do that, and sometimes an ice chest, and grill, but do you know what they don't got? Power. The battery for my car is in the trunk which is perfect. After my car has been judged, I can hook up this power inverter to by car's battery, and power whatever I want. This thing is heavy duty, so it can power all kinds of stuff. It's got two regular outlets, and two USB outlets. What I noticed about the USB outlets is that they are 3 amps, that's a lot for a USB outlet. That's nice, because that's more than enough to charge nearly any devise at full speed. One thing I don't like about it is how short the cables are. They are long enough, but you are really limited on where you can place it while you are using it with your car. I understand why it's short, they are made of copper, and the longer they are, the thicker they have to be. This inverter was very affordable, they couldn't provide very long cables, but you can easily replace them.
