I'm not the average buyer of this bed- I'm a law student. My budget is very tight and the room I rent is very small- hence the "Junior" size bed. I need the storage underneath and the ceilings are low, so I couldn't get a full loft bed. It took about 2 hours to assemble (by myself), and so far has been great. I wouldn't recommend putting another person in it- but it holds me just fine (I'm about 130 lbs).

I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this loft bed especially for the price! I got it for my 3 year old who has a pretty small room and it made an incredible difference with the floor space. I got him a 6in mattress to go with it because he moves around a lot in his sleep. I feel that he's very safe with this size mattress and the safety rails. He adores this bed. It's very sturdy and great for a small room. It took about 2 hours to put together. The instructions were very clear and all the pieces were there. The frame feels very sturdy and I'm sure it will last us a long time! Now his sister wants one!
