I love to cook and make food from all around the world. It's difficult because I don't want to have a bunch of different kinds of rice to fit every dish from every region. I settle for four different kinds of rice that will work for most dishes. I have a jar of jasmine, basmati, brown, and medium grain white rice that specifically has to be Botan Calrose Rice. It always cooks perfectly and it's just sticky enough to hold together and hold up sauces. I just love that. It's fluffy and chewy at the same time. If it was just me, I think I'd probably go for a short grain sushi, rice because I really like the sticky chewy quality of it. But to have a Rice like this one means I can use it in many many different recipes and they'll always turn out fantastic!
