I sifted through many reviews before deciding upon the hand held I thought would be right for my needs. I finally decided on this 16V B & D and I'm glad I did. I've only been using it a month but so far I've been very impressed with the power and the features. It's easy to empty (however, because the container is fairly small, the white filter does get pretty dirty, but has not affected the performance. When I'm ready to empty it I use a small rubber brush over a waste basket to brush off the filter, and this works great!). The built in extension is a great feature, as is the flip out brush (contrary to other reviewers, I have really found this useful for many things, including baseboard dusting). This particular model comes with a wall mounting kit, which we wanted. (Another model that is the same hand held is not wall mountable, so make sure you are getting the one you want) So yes! I'm very happy with my purchase and giving it 5 stars!

Just opened the box and read the instructions. They said the vacuum comes with 4 hours already charged. Already vacuumed the ares I needed and still have plenty of power. Picked up trash to include pet hair. So far, an excellent product. I've had a Black Decker hand vacuum before. But it finally gave up the ghost and died only after 9 years. I used it almost every week in every room of the house.
