Chefman Lightning 1.8L Custom-Temp Electric Kettle, 1750W with Tea Infuser - Stainless Steel

I love this electric hot water pot with tea infuser. The materials are of excellent quality — the parts which come in contact with the water are almost entirely glass and stainless steel. The instructions give the steeping times for different types of tea : white, green, black, etc. It enables a tea lover to use higher quality loose tea leaves instead of tea bags. One can make a small amount for a single person or a 7 cup pot. It heats water faster than any other electric pot I have ever tried and is also much faster than either a stovetop or microwave. It also has an automatic shut off, so there is no need to be watching it every second to make sure it gets turned off. All in all, terrific bang for my bucks. Highly recommended.

This kettle is perfect. It's small enough to be portable, has enough volume (1.8 liters or about 2 quarts) to work for a party, and has a minimum water amount of 500 ml (maybe 20 oz) so it's not super wasteful if you're just making some tea for yourself. The thermostat actually works, and the adjustable temperature is ideal for tea nerds. You can adjust it in 5 degree increments from like 180 to a full boil at 212. The keep warm feature isn't super reliable, plus or minus 5 degrees or so, but it's close enough and the handle displays the actual temperature.
