I purchased this for a rather unusual reason. The water in my apartment at the sink does not get hot enough. This has been perfect for heating up a good quantity of hot water to add to my dishwater. Or if I have something that needs soaking, it's great for that, too. It is super fast at heating up and really looks pretty with the blue lights. It is a quite machine, pours great, extremely easy to operate and perfect size for my cabinet.

Maybe not the best, but it boils water faster than what you'd get using a kettle on the stove top. It lacks fine control of water temperature that pricier models have. Definitely not a deal killer for me, but there are folks that would rather not bring the water to 212° for certain applications. Me? I'm just happy to get boiling water in fewer than 5 minutes.
