The solid cast iron bases have leveling glides to prevent the table from wobbling on uneven floors. The steel has a 3" diameter and is made of 16 gauge steel. The top and base are all shipped in one box. Easy to assemble.

Don't

Was delivered missing parts and instructions so I contacted Walmart and they contacted the company. That was a few months ago and I have yet to hear back from either of them. Far as I'm concerned the table is garbage and I won't be buying furniture from them again!
