These were the 7-8 pair I have purchased. Fit is spot on! They are at least medium weight if not more. They are very soft and comfortable. They wash, dry and wear great! Just wish there were more color options available. Size 22, five foot 3 and 230lbs.

I have been ordering butter jeans for over 10 years and I really like them because they fit better than most jeans. I like them because they are higher waisted and I have a long body. It used to be, you would order a size smaller than you wear and they would fit perfect. It was nice because you felt like you were wearing a smaller size. But that isn't the case anymore. When I needed a new pair, I went to order it and I did read a review saying this exact same thing so I ordered my real size instead of a size down. They fit smaller than my previous pairs. Tight in the thigh. I do have larger thighs than most people. The waist was fine. They are also black inside, definitely not the comfy butter denim of the past. They appear to be well made and they look nice once you get them on. Hopefully washing them a few more times will help. If not I'll be on a quest for the new perfect jeans. My mother also said she'd like my jeans so she would like a pair like mine, so I did order her pair in her size and she said it was a bit tight in the waist and she wears a size 16. She is not thick waisted in the slightest. But also, they look nice on her when she was wearing them and she has worn them quite often since I bought them for her.
