Good socks if properly maintained.

Have been wearing this style sock for many winters and been very comfortable. Keys to keeping these socks soft and warm is to wash in cold water and hang dry. Hot water and driers result in shrinkage, hardness and loss of loft (warming potential). Also, tight boots that compress the socks will result in colder feet.

These some of the highest % wool socks in this price range so are a good value for the money. Soft, thick, comfy, and warm. They do not hold odor like synthetic socks do. I wear a women's size 9 shoe and the men's medium size in this sock fits me well. I will be enjoying these all winter for years to come I think.
