We are using this for elder care. It works GREAT! The open/close mechanism is easy for them to operate. The opening is sufficient for adult size diapers. It does take a little longer to change the liner than a normal trash can -but that's to be expected. What we care most about is that the odor is controlled!!!! Yay! Thank you! I like the Ubbi Stainless Diaper Pail the best for odor and sturdiness. The plastic one seems to trap the odor inside the plastic. I had to get rid of the plastic one. I am extremely happy that I got the Ubbi Stainless Steel diaper pail. I plan to get the Ubbi Pet pail too.
