I'm a senior with slight balance problems and I always fear slipping when I get out of the shower. I bought this no-slip bath mat for that reason. Product came folded over once, then rolled. With unrollling, there was a prominent raised strip down the middle of the rug, about 3/4 inch wide. I used my fingers to push down on the raised part once or twice a day and then laid the rug down flat. After about 4 days, the raised area was much less prominent. I wondered why the product had not just been rolled for shipment, and not folded. The folding caused the raised area.

This is a really nice rug and absorbs the runoff water well. The only reason it didn't receive a full 5 star across the board is it came a bit deformed. Not enough for me to send it back and request a replacement. I would recommend this.
