Womens I Was Told There Would Be Dogs T Shirt Funny Pet Puppy Lover Tee Womens Graphic Tees

I am reviewing the Women's I Was Told There Would Be Dogs t-shirt made by Crazy Dog T-Shirts. I got a large and I am glad I did because the shirt seems to run on the smaller size. I usually wear a medium but to be safe I got a large. The color is a heather navy which I really like because it looks like a washed out navy color which I prefer over dark navy. The shirt is made out of 60% cotton, 40% polyester and I have to tell you it is just as soft as can be , again one of my must haves, can't stand stiff or itchy clothes! It washes really nice too, just throw it in a cold water wash and tumble dry on low and your good to go. If you are a dog lover like I am I think you will get a kick out of this shirt that simple says "I Was Told There Would Be Dogs"! The t-shirt is light weight so if you are wearing it in cooler weather you are going to want to layer it with a sweater or jacket. I love throwing it on with a pair of jeans and a sweater and I'm good to go!

I love dogs and comfortable T-shirts, so what else could I want? The shirt was listed as gray but it is much more of a blue-gray color (see picture where I am wearing it, that is representative of the color), so I am not crazy about the color. I wear a size 12-14 and usually take a size medium or large in tops. I found this T-shirt on the small size. It fit okay, but most T-shirts sized large are roomier than this one. I washed it to make sure it did not shrink and it seems to have retained its size. I washed it on cold and put it in a warm dryer briefly and hung it up to dry the rest of the way. I have photographed it laid flat so you can get a better idea of the size. The slogan is very cute, but overall I am not pleased with the shirt. The fabric is so thin and lightweight; I have never had a T-shirt that light and flimsy. You can see from the label that it is a blend of cotton and polyester, which is what many of my tops are. That blend is usually a comfortable easy-care fabric of sufficient weight. This shirt is more like tissue paper, so unless you live in an extremely warm climate or ‘run hot' I cannot recommend it.
