WAY too big

Ordered a size 5-6 for my 5 %26 6 year old boys who are average sized for their age, albeit it pretty slim. When I hold the onesie up to their bodies, the neckhole is at the very top of their head. Something is terribly off with the sizing. Unfortunately had to return these, which is a huge disappointment as they were purchased to be used for matching pajamas with the rest of their cousins.
