Solid lights

Morimoto truly do not disappoint, these lights are the closest to stock OEM you can find that are good quality on top of that! Super bright DRL like seriously, super bright. If you are looking for headlight assemblies and you can budget these then drop the hammer and buy them, you will NOT be disappointed.

Much better than stock, definitely needs the inline resistors!

These are beautiful headlights and do a fantastic job of lighting up the road. With my stock headlights, even with LED bulb upgrades, you could hardly tell the difference between the low beam and high beam setting. These guys do a great job of lighting up the road without the light bleeding all over the place. The low beam setting has a solid line to the top of the beam dispersal that does a great job of keeping you from blinding the car in front of you. Once you kick on the high beams you have no problem seeing way down the road. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie edition, and I can definitely say this vehicle needs the resistor in line with the light. In my vehicle you didn't get any hyperflash, but the 4WD-Lo light on the dash started flashing and it felt like the 4WD system was trying to engage. When you'd turn it felt like the 4WD was engaged even when it wasn't. I even took it to a shop and had them look at it because it seemed like there was NO WAY the headlights could be associated with the 4WD system. The 4WD system checked out fine, so when I got home I hooked a set of resistors inline with the lights and the gremlins all went away. I did installed LED turn signal lights as an upgrade to the standard bulbs, and you do have to get them in yellow. The housing for the turn signal is clear, so you have to make sure the bulb is the correct color. You also must include the in-line resistors to prevent hyperflash if you put in LED bulbs on this truck. The daytime running lights were super easy to hook up. I routed the wire across the top of the radiator and as you can see from the photo it looks nice and is bright enough to catch people's attention.
