Met expectations…

Despite the many negative reviews referring to the screws fixing the legs being too long and damaging the top side surface, I purchased this desk for my son. As far as the reviews, I have a working theory… the manufacturer recognized the issue and fixed it, or, perhaps the other reviewers assembled with the incorrect screws? As a precaution during assembly, before I inserted any of the leg screws, I double/triple checked that I was using the correct screw, I then carefully measured the screw called for in the instructions to ensure, upon fully tightening, that it would still fall short of threading too deep into hole… they all measured and tightened as they should’ve. Assembly was seamless and all is well.
