Nice shade of red

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this frosting. I've tasted a few other canned frostings before and they usually aren't good. The color was exactly what I was looking for. It is so hard to get a true bright red with buttercream, so the next best thing is to buy it. So glad I did! If you think it is too running, I suggest either mixing powder sugar in it or mixing some of your own vanilla buttercream in it. I mixed my vanilla buttercream in it to get it to last a bit longer, I also added a drop of red food coloring to match adding the buttercream.

Great Icing

The Wilton creamy decorator icing has a nice consistency to decorate a cake although if you do a lot of decorating on a cake, you will probably need two containers. It is not overly sweet and I think it would be perfect to decorate your cookies. You do have a choice of icing consistency which varies from soft, medium or stiff. I can also see decorating cupcakes with cute flowers. I appreciate that it comes ready to use which saves time from making your own icing.
