fittings for drainage were difficult to put on but found that if you use a small clamp to secure hoses to back of a/c it's fairly secure. I purchased mosquito netting to drape over a/c it keeps a lot of dust from building up on filters. For now it puts out plenty of cold air in a small area. I use it in my 27 travel trailer

I have only had it a few days...but I love it!! I am using it to supplement my heat pump system that can not keep up in the heat and runs constantly, thus my electric bills are to cry about. So far I love it. It is not as heavy as you would think. Not loud, very tolerable noise level. The remote is handy, but not necessary, as the buttons on top of unit are clear. The only difficulty was putting the ends on hose, but you need to righty- tighty turn to get them on. The amount of heat it extracts is crazy!! I love it so far.
