I'm using this curtain rod in my laundry room to hang items on hangers that I don't put in the clothes dryer. The rod is expandable, and there is an inner rod which reinforces the outer portion. Very good quality. I used the standard shower curtain rod holders, which I was able to purchase locally, and they match the rod material. I used a hacksaw to cut it down to the measurements that I needed. I am donating the finials and hardware to Goodwill since I didn't need them. This is a very good product.
