the battery only lasts about 2 maybe 3 days tops. So you really have to be on top of charging it. as a watch its a little bulky on a small wrist. my 9 year old has been adjusting to it. you also have to download the garmin app, thats where messages go. so anyone thats put in the group to message your kid has to have the app. cost is pretty cheap. 9.99 a month to have connection to your kid. overall i am pleased with it. now to have the child wear it regularly.

Great watch, only kids one available that uses GPS for tracking distance for running and walking and biking. Don't use for texting or anything with the subscription so wish it wasn't so big and bulky as we only need it for the GPS tracking.
