i haven't had this composter very lobg but I'm loving it so far. i really like being able to compost my food scraps and paper/box materials instead of throwing them in the trash. it is a little difficult to spin when it's getting full but the grooves on the tumbler are helpful for getting a good grip. The only negative I have noticed is the sliding door. it doesn't open smoothly and requires some force to get it open more than half way. Overall, I like it enough that I will be purchasing a second so I can have one compost curing while using the other.
