This is the second Safavieh rug I've ordered and I was really hesitant because the first was literally awful. But thankfully this one is actually really pretty, the carpeting is full (no bare patches) and the color is exactly as pictured. I'm not super worried about the thickness of the rug because I already had a rug pad ready to go under this, but I wouldn't recommend trying to use this without a good rug pad. It's very light and it'll slide like crazy on hard floors and it'll warp/fold on carpeting because it's not thick enough to really hold its own. I personally ordered the Mohawk dual surface rug pad (also from walmart) and even including that in the cost of this rug it would still be considered very affordable. If you're worried about ordering a cheap rug, I'd say go for it.
