Shorts and pants are so much harder to buy for me because i fluctuate in weight so much. I decided to go with the elastic waist band this time and see how it works. for a big man, this is a dream come true. Whern I wear regular shorts, and I have to wear it with a belt, it is really uncomfortable and hurts me where the belt buckle is. Not only are these shorts elastic, but they also have a built in drawstring! No need for a belt, and the comfort level is through the roof. Very important for us big dudes.
