I was pleasantly surprised. They are high wasted up past belly button. They stay up and feel great. They feel like bicycle shorts and come down the leg to prevent chafing but not long enough to go past shorts. Very comfortable, buying more in different colors

I purchased another style of underwear from this company but needed some replacements so I was searching and comparing and noticed these were made with modal. I knew of the softness and quality modal provided so I took a chance on these. I have not been disappointed. The fit is terrific and they feel like silk. Some may be put off because they do have a panel that runs up the front where a man's pair would have the access panel but it is solid and not thick or bulky. I have not had any trouble with these rolling up in the legs and they do not pill from the adhesive on the back of my protective pads. I would suggest that maybe if they could turn the panel on its side so it ran from hip to hip and increased the amount of spandex there would be an added positive for stomach support for those of us who require that. As far as washing goes, I have washed them in cool water on the gentle cycle using gentle detergent like tide free and no bleach of any kind and I have had no problems with seams coming loose anywhere. I do hang to dry as suggested in the manufacturer's instructions. I plan on ordering another pack of these in the very near future. As to length of wear, I haven't had them long enough to speak to that.
