THESE DIABETIC SOCKS WERE NOT BINDING AT ALL. THEY WERE ANKLET SOCKS AND WERE NICE ABSORBENT COTTON. THEY ARE NICE COTTON TERRY CLOTH ON THE INSIDE. IF YOU HAVE EDEMA OR JUST DON'T LIKE TIGHT BINDING SOCKS, THESE SOCKS ARE PERFECT. THEY FEEL AS IF I AM NOT WEARING SOCKS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT NOTICEABLE. BUT OF COURSE THEY KEEP YOUR FEET NOT TO WARM AND NOT TOO COOL.
