(3 pack) Great Value Alkaline AA Batteries, 8 Count

I bought these to see if they were as good as the name brands or not. The test results are in - they are every bit as good as the name brands. I have measured the capacity of a number of different brands on a commercial battery analyzer, and these are as good as any alkaline batteries I have tested so far. The fact that they are made in USA and test very close to another brand that advertises made in USA is a good hint as to who makes these for Wal Mart. Unless you have some specific use case for needing a better battery (and in that case, you should be buying lithium) I can't find any reason to pay more for the name brand batteries that perform exactly the same as these. I will be buying more.
