Great quality, but taupe was darker than pictured

I had to return this headboard because the color clashed with my blue walls and bedding, but Hayneedle customer service was great. I was hoping for a light beige like in the photos for taupe, but the headboard was darker, more like true taupe. It would look nice with white or ivory walls.
