Learning Resources Spike The Fine Motor Hedgehog Pink Fine Motor and Sensory Toy Montessori Ages 18 Months+

I received this free for review and I'm so glad! My daughter loves sorting the quills by color, counting, and making different patterns on the hedgehog's back. She is 2 and a half and I was worried she wouldn't find it interesting, but I feel like she's the perfect age for it.

We were given spike in exchange for an honest review, and immediately upon opening spike my son took an interest, he was quickly able to figure out how to hold the spikes and how to put them into the hedgehog, And as he's played with it more and more each day he's getting better at the fine motor skills necessary to properly place the spikes! I was actually surprised at how much he loved it, It keeps his interest, I feel part of that is that it's not too difficult for him so he doesn't get frustrated and give up.. it's the perfect amount of challenge to make it fun for him, And it gives him a sense of accomplishment when he gets all of the spikes in! He even carries around the house It's so cute 😆 It says 18 months and up, My son is 15 months old and he loves it! He's not quite ready for the more challenging aspects of it such as color coordinating and number placements.. But it's awesome it gives him a chance to grow into it!
