I was a 9/11 responder and this item is a disgrace

This license plate frame is made of cheap, flimsy plastic. I paid $13, but after getting the item in my hands, I wouldn't give two bucks for it. Now, if the poor quality wasn't enough to return it for a refund, the two defects were. So yeah, it arrived with two major defects on top of it being a cheapy piece of plastic. First, it is curved like a banana (from left to right). It's supposed to be made for a flat bumper, so I'm afraid if I try to put it over my license plate that it will just snap. Now, I might be able to flatten it by putting it between a couple of pieces of cardboard and then gently putting it between heavy cinder blocks on a hot day. Or, I could gently take a heat gun to it and then press it between two heavy books... but why should I have to do extra work to fix this thing?! It should have arrived ready to install, not ready to be fixed by the customer. The second problem is that the words at the bottom of the thing are printed onto a long strip of plastic – almost like a long, little bumper sticker they then apply to a plastic frame... Anyway, this sticker was put on very crookedly. I thought about gently peeling it up, but then it angered me that I have to fix this dumb thing just to use it. Whomever put the words on this license plate frame in the factory had one task - to put a sticker on straight – but they really fell asleep on the job that day. Must have been a Friday. Btw, I was a 9/11 responder for the entire first week of that tragedy in 2001 so I was hoping to receive something that was better quality than this thing. So there's no way I can put this piece of junk on my car. Heck, the license plate frames they give you at car dealearships for free are better quality than this thing.
