Lathers very well. if you're looking to get this because you too are scrapin' by and need to get something cheap to get the job done than this is it, it did what it was supposed to do! but if you're looking for anything else or extra moisture etc than this isn't the one for you

After accidentaly leaving it on my hair for too long, which is African hair texture (not curly), it did leave my hair feeling very soft, and is a good detangler. It didn't dry out my hair strands. I purchased it because of price. I was looking for a quick conditioner that didn't cost a whole lot.
