Last modem upgrade you will need

For a while at least. With "gigabit" speeds still in its infancy, this modem will carry your current loads with ease. Should you ever decide to increase your speed through your carrier with this device, it'll be no problem then either (because when do we ever get the ACTUAL speeds we pay for, right?). Before upgrading to this model, I owned another surfboard from back in its Motorola days. I used it for 7-8 years with no problems whatsoever. I imagine I will get just as much if not more from this one.

Better than I expected

When I ordered this product I ordered based on 2 re-occurring themes. 1 was that the product performed well and 2 it was easy to install. I installed the Modem myself and since I have two left hands a normally easy thing to accomplish is generally difficult. I was pleased with the ease of installation. The second is performance. The modem works great.

Replacement modem

Replaced an older modem that I was having issues with dropouts. I have Comcast xfinity, replacement was as simple as hooking it up and letting it connect. Then going to Comcast website to activate. Have had this about 2 weeks, works perfect with no dropouts and faster downloads. Could not be more happy. Highly recommended!
