I got the gold/blue rug for my mom. We were not sure how the shade of the gold would actually turn out in person and it needed to match a chair that has yellow and blue in it. It is a pretty yellow and looks more like the picture than "gold". It's beautiful! The stitching around the edge is a little more gold looking and the whole rug is very attractive. She has blue sofas that go perfect. It is not a dark look on her hardwood floor. For her to "enjoy" her room it had to be lightened up and this rug gives that feel. It is made well and durable. It was a good purchase in color, durability and price!
