This is perfect, lightweight like I wanted. It does have a very soft plush feel to it. It is long enough on the sides to look like a comforter on the bed which is what I was looking for. Lightweight enough to be able to wash in a large capacity washer unlike a king size comforter. I am very happy I chose to make this purchase
