SlimFast High Protein Smoothie Mix, Creamy Chocolate, 12 Serving Container

I surprisingly liked this and I've already gone to buy my back up. This one only has enough servings for one week of shakes if you're following the slimfast diet rules of 2 shakes a day and a regular supper. The first time I used this I used skim milk . The shake was thick and creamy and tasted great. Again surprising. I was expecting it to be gross and have to choke it down like all the other protein powders I've tried. I attempted to cut the carbs and just mix this with water and ice in a blender but it wAsnt as good. I also tried adding instant espresso and that was ok. So I'm floating in the middle now and I'm going to try almond milk next. I did half way follow the rules of the slimfast diet and I lost 2 pounds in a week. It's nice seeing that number drop and still have chocolate! It did curb my hunger for almost 4 hours just not quite. I'm a heavy person and my stomach is crazy due to emotional eating and years of over eating. This shake was gentle in my tummy and I've had no adverse reactions. SlimFast Advanced Nutrition Smoothie packs 20 g of protein in an 8 oz serving! This was the first time I tried the powdered version of SlimFast product and found it better tasting than their ready to drink shakes. I mixed a scoop of smoothie powder with 8 oz of 2% milk and the taste was smooth and rich, just like a high end chocolate milk. The product promises to keep the hunger away for 4 hours but I felt full for over 6 hours. On the days I had the smoothie for breakfast I was not hungry at lunch so I would have a small snack when I came from work and a small dinner. I feel better, my appetite is suppressed and after two weeks of just replacing my breakfast with the smoothie I have lost 2 pounds. One package makes about 12 servings if you use the scoop measure included for 8 oz of milk.
