Western Digital My Passport Ultra 1 Terabyte My Passport Ultra External Hard Drive

I was looking for a reliable and affordable backup for my home computer. I had read very good reviews about the WD My Passport Ultra External Hard Drive, and decided to give it a try. It was very easy to install, and to schedule the backup plan. After the first backup, however, I got a strange error - UPPS.bin. I went out online to find out what it was and how to fix it - seems to be something unique to WD product software, and thankfully doesn't actually affect the backup itself. From everything I read about it, the backup takes place, and the error code is generated at the end. Fortunately for me, the next time the backup took place the error did not occur and hasn't since. I have had it for one week, and so far so good!

Got this to transfer recordings I had on my Dish Hopper when I had to replace it. The transfer of recordings from the old Hopper to the external hard drive and back to my replacement Hopper went great.
