Great graphic tablet for everyday use

The Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet brings me back to my college days when I worked on a lot of computer graphics for projects – graphic renderings and various artworks submitted to the Art Director/College Professor. I used to own a smaller Mac WACOM tablet and that one with its limited size took a lot of hand re-adjusting just to get the pen pointed back on the tablet. What I like about the Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet is the artboard size and how thin and light the tablet is. The tablet is a lot bigger than what I'm used to and picking up where I left off from my college days was a snap. The Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet has all the features a Graphic Artist would need. The touch-sensitive pen uses one AAA battery and the pen is not rechargeable. I have seen more expensive graphic tablets in the market that features rechargeable pens (sits in its charging base) and with a lighted artboard. This is not a negative towards the Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet. I think this is a great buy for college students and for home use. The graphic tablet is big enough for use but compact enough to carry in your backpack or bag. The only issue I see that I ran into using this Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet is the USB cord length. Most of the time the computer is on the ground and running the cord from your graphic tablet to your computer would require a longer USB cord. I have to place my desktop computer on my desk just to hook up the graphic tablet cord. I would eventually re-place my desktop computer on the ground and buy a longer cord for this graphic tablet to reach. Overall, I love the Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet. It's all I need. The complete manual, the touch-sensitive pen, the artboard size, the weight, and definitely the price make this Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet a great buy. This would also make a great gift to your aspiring Graphic Artist at home. I highly recommend this product!

Excellent large enough screen.

First time for me owning a drawing tablet, so I can't compare it to any other brand. However for the $41.99 and free shipping I don't think I could go wrong with it. I like that it's a large enough area to work in. I haven't worked with it too much as of yet, as I want to install my photo shop first. I tested it using windows paint and works really well. However I first tried to use it with paint.net and it kept throwing out weird vertical lines out of nowhere, so it appears paint.not might have a few problems that makes it not compatible. However if you intend on using a drawing tablet it's most likely you will have a descent drawing program installed at some time in the near future. Some earlier purchasers reported that they received 2 pens mine came with 1, however not complaining. I would have preferred if the pen didn't require a battery. Although I have no idea of the average batter life as of yet. I just find products that use batteries for drawing tablets is kind of unwarranted, since other inexpensive technologies are easily incorporated without a battery requirement. Maybe even some sort of rechargeable pen? (I just don't like throwing disposable batteries out). Over all I highly recommend this product, but please note it takes a little bit of time to learn the in's and out's in regards to settings. I was provided two user manuals, which were very extensive, and detailed as well as a driver installer disc. Instructions say to install software before plugging in the tablet, I jumped ahead and plugged in first then installed the driver. But for me it didn't poise any problems. However I would follow recommended installation procedures.

Great Tablet, Even Better Price

I received this 10 x 6.25-inch Graphic Drawing Tablet tablet from the Spark Reviewer program to try out and review. I have been very pleasantly surprised at how nice this tablet it. It's drawing screen is quite large and it seems to respond exactly as it is supposed to. I am currently using it with a Windows 10 laptop, mainly in Photoshop Elements 14. There are buttons on the left column called "Express Keys" and they are just that. I tried each one to see how they worked and they're great. Zooming the image I am working on is quick, changing the size of the brush/pen I am working with is simple as is all the rest of the buttons. As with any tablet, it takes a bit to get used to drawing on it and seeing your result on-screen. I have been using a Wacom tablet but had put it away for a while so I find as I keep practicing I am getting better with each attempt. If you have a children who like to draw and don't want to spend too much on a high-end tablet then this is the one for you. For under $75 you can't beat it. Some tablets can be $200 up into the $1000s so this is a great way to find out if a tablet is for you or to get your kids into drawing without spending a large amount. I plan to continue to experiment with this, drawing and creating art, painting my photographs. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tablet especially my art friends and family.
