The color was spot on, and the cover is good quality. We have washed and dried ours several times, and it has held up well. The cover IS waterproof. I had my suspicions.....I was pleasantly surprised. Only problrm for us is keeping the back in place, so we usually just tuck it into the back of the chair, behind the seat cushion.
