I wasn't sure about the cordless design but I actually prefer it. It might take a minute longer to take it up or down but there are no cords dangling which gives it a much clearer appearance. It blocks the right amount of the sun during sunset while still allowing a view.

I can not be more pleased. I actually used this for an indoor application and it could not have been easier. I have windows that were 96" wide. This was the best light weight option and the price is perfect. We have dogs and kids and the material is excellent to be able to just pull them down, hang them outside. Hit them with a hose, let them dry, and quick hang them up again. The light weight also made it super easy to hang with just one person. I will modify them at some point to be more roman style as it better fits the style I have but the roll function is easy and appropriate for the intended application. I actually purchased two of these in different widths. Very happy and will definitely purchase more :)
