I wear these around the pool as they have good non slip soles, even on wet floors. I also wear them when showering ( at the pool,) they do tend to hold the water and take time to dry out. Very comfortable. I haven't tried walking any distance in them but I don't think this would be a problem.

I have wide flat footed feet so these sandals were perfect-giving me the width and support that I needed. There's an adjustable Velcro band that you can play with if you need extra support. I recommend that you order your usual shoe size.
