I like these skirts for work. They are very comfortable. I do wear a half slip because you can see through them. The skirt is easy to move in and great for everyday wear. I'm 5'5 and 285 and I wear the xl it fits me well and not too snug but figure flattering.

It's very large, I'm 5'11" and it runs down to my feet. Downside is it doesn't let you spin really. It's comfy, but you shouldn't really wear it if it's cold outside. But I'd say test it for yourself. I really like it and find it super comfy compared to pants. That said the waist on it is stretchy but feels tight.
