I did not like finding this product shipped VIA USPS, because that was unexpected, and arrived folded in order to deliver that in mailbox rather than the front door. I thought it might have been destroyed, and thus did'nt mess with it for a while. When the package was opened, there were two modle types shown by a tag that did not included my new MacAirBook with an M1 chip,… so i did'nt bother with it several more days. I finally decided to give it a chance to see if it actually fit, and was amazed it did. I think it is suitable, but probably second class to top protection covers. This works! If I had known it had been delivered through the mail, I would have held off calling support. Walmart customer support has been very good with working out concerns and I truly appreciate them. This product was not destroyed in the mailbox found folded over to fit our box. If yours comes like that, don't be alarmed! It will work fine for the basic protection of your laptop and will not show evidence that it was ever folded near in half after laying it out, that is from my experience with the clear cover delivered here.
