Motorcraft Diesel Fuel Filter FD4615

It's a real Motorcraft filter. If the plastic filter has "FoMoCo engraved then it's supposed to be real and not a knockoff.

We always use Motorcraft oil and fuel filters due to the quality of their products. This was the first time ever ordering one through WalMart and we will never make that mistake again. My husband has changed his own oil %26 fuel filters hundreds of times. This time I convinced him to order our filters through WalMart since they were so much cheaper, but still Motorcraft. Big mistake. He installed the new fuel filter, like he has hundreds of times before, but this time the truck wouldn't start. It would crank but not turn over. He cycled it several times and finally gave up... wondering if there's something wrong with the truck. We had it towed to the dealership. They took the fuel filter off and determined that it was molded SHUT!! We learned that just because it says Motorcraft doesn't mean it's the same as the one you buy at O'Reilly's. It cost us $400 and was due to no fault of ours at all.
