Fiberglass bows much better than wood- will last.

These are perfect for canvas cover supports for the cover on my 1956 Chris Craft Sportsman. THey fit perfectly in the chrome slot fittings, and provide solid support to the cover, with no fear of breakage. And the length is easy to adjust by cutting with an ordinary handsaw, to the desired length. Would be better if the end caps actually covered the ends- they just slide on/off the bows.

Not quite strong enough

Bought as a second slat for my mooring cover...still had to put support under to keep slat from collapsing.....original slat of which I still had one strong enough to stay flexed arch without a support. Did like the Wal Mart order on line/store pick up service.
