Just get it.

Just works. Used on a fitting for an easy drain hose kit to replace the leaky plastic fitting on my riding mower, the last thing you want is an oil leak. I've used this stuff for years. Easy to apply and keeps stuff from leaking.

Sealer for bolt threads.

As far as I know, this is the proper sealant for bolt threads going into coolant passages. This is what I used as Prmatex has always performed well. I won't know if this product did not do the job if problems arise later on.
