Strawberry Float Cold Drink

I put these thawed strawberries over a big cup of strawberry ice cream then I poured the ginger ale with cherry flavor over both for an ice cream float that is sinfully delicious on these hot summer days. I also eat them plain when they are still cold but not frozen when the ice cream and ginger ale flavored with cherry is gone. Happily I can buy all 3 at Walmart. Great combination for a cold drink float.

Tastes great

I added some in a sponge cake with strawberry glaze then extra creamy whipped topping. It makes a great tasting light dessert! And I've made cakes with it- poke holes all over the cake with a fork, pour this over the cake (add a smaller container to this large one) then cover with extra creamy Cool Whip. Our church ladies loved it and requested it again for a later dinner.

Shortcuts That Are Worth It

This makes strawberry desserts so super easy. My eldest son's very simple favorite with this is to grab some premade Angel Food Cake and whipped cream for a quick strawberry, no fuss, strawberry shortcake dessert. There are so many possibilities.
