This purifier is quiet, efficient, and a solid performer. As the indicator displays the quality of the air, each step switches to a lesser ( or greater) fan power as the air is deemed poor, medium, to pure, it automatically works harder, or less, according to the purification requirements, a great feature. - Vary little noise which is wonderful - It has been working great and all the key indication lights work well. - I placed it in my basement and I have notice a huge diffrence in the lint that will settle on my dryer after doing a load.
