Great Value Organic Vanilla Beans, 2 Count

I'm not sure what the complaints are about. They're a little pricey, but it's fine if you don't want to deal with the hassle of ordering online and getting them a week later when you need to use them now. And I can tell you my vanilla bean creme brulees came out tasting perfect.

I was hoping these vanilla beans would have a stronger vanilla aroma and flavor, but unfortunately they didn't stand out much for me. I used them expecting that rich, fragrant vanilla flavor you normally get from using a whole vanilla bean, but the flavor was pretty mild. Even though there are two beans in the package, I didn't feel like they added as much vanilla flavor to what I was making as I expected. The 2-count package is convenient if you only need a couple of beans for a recipe, and I like the idea of having organic vanilla beans available for homemade desserts. Unfortunately, the flavor is the part that matters most to me, and these just didn't have the intensity I was looking for. They may work better for someone who wants a more subtle vanilla flavor, but if you're buying whole vanilla beans specifically for a strong, noticeable vanilla taste, I would probably choose a different option.
